Hunting For A Party Location

(Sigh)...I am always asked constantly about party locations.  It's such a disappointment when I don't have the answer someone desperately wants to hear.  Are you here today because you are looking for a party location too?

Let's say for example, you've decided to host an event in September this year.  If you are reading this today, its June 26, 2011.  Well, let me tell you I have bad news.  Of all the locations I stay in constant contact with over the many days and months during the year, you are much too late to find a date in September!  Every Saturday is booked.  Remember, there are only 4 Saturdays in September.  Can you tell me how many people are looking for September dates?  More people than there are Saturdays for sure!  Since I am prone to expressing my opinion, you might be better off pitching a tent in someone's back yard!

Sometimes when I drive through neighborhoods with large estate homes and huge lawns, I think I should seriously consider sending these owners a letter asking if they would be interested in renting lawn space for parties! Of course I'd offer a solution to this problem:

For those of you who are celebrating occasions other than a wedding, Mrs. S wishes you the best in finding one of the nicer locations (outside of a hotel, of course).  Brides are looking 6-10 months before your party crosses your mind!

Has Mrs. S made her point?  Oh good!  Get out your 2012 calendar.  I have plenty of available dates for 2012.  Have a wonderful day!
